titleOfInvention Method of reducing width of nose tip with strengthening of canopy and lateral peduncles of nose wing cartilages with preservation of ligament of pitanguy and scroll
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to plastic surgery. It is followed by subpericartilage separation of nasal wing cartilage by access through its sub- or transcartilage incision. Marking is performed at distance of 6–7 mm from the caudal edge of the lateral pedicle. Longitudinal segment of the lateral pedicle is made along the marking line without touching the underlying soft tissues and skin, leaving 6–7 mm of the caudal segment of the nasal wing cartilage. Further, on the inner side of the caudal segment of the cartilage of the nose wing and the dome of the nasal cartilage, a pocket is created by skin detachment and a mucosa of the inner lining of the caudal segment of the lateral pedicle and the canopy of wing cartilage. Cephalic segment of the cartilage of the wing of nose is moved into the pocket without separation from underlying tissues and resection. Movement of the cephalic segment of the wing cartilage of the nose is performed in an anteromedial direction, wherein the medial edge of the cephalic segment of the lateral leg is moved under the canopy of the wing of the nose with the possibility of strengthening the canopy, then the strengthened nose wing carcass is formed, for which the connection of the cephalic and caudal segments of the lateral cartilages is fixed with a long-absorbing suture, passing through the cartilaginous tissue of both segments, without capturing the soft tissues. Skin and mucosa of the inner nostril lepidic tissue, then the separated skin and the mucous membrane of the inner lepidic tissue of the nasal wing are fixed with a fast-permeable suture through both segments of the cartilages of the lateral pedicle with gripping of the soft tissues, skin and the mucous membrane of the inner lepidic tissue of the nostril. n EFFECT: method intensifies prevention of "pinch" nose tip deformation, reduces formation of ligature nose fistulas and infection thereof, reduces patient's discomfort in postoperative period. n 1 cl, 12 dwg, 2 ex
