titleOfInvention | Method for modelling non-alcoholic fatty liver disease by diet rich in fructose |
abstract | FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental hepatology. Method involves independent eating of C57B1/6 line in mice with weight of 30–40 g of dry grain fodder for rodents. Preliminary grain fodder is mixed with dry fructose at rate of 2–3 g per one mouse. Mixture is poured with boiling water, mixed and maintained until cooling. Liquid fraction is drained. Immediately prior to feeding, fructose is added to the mixture at dose of 2–3 g per mouse per day. Drinking mode includes 30–40 % aqueous solution of fructose in amount of 3–4 ml per mouse per day. Food ration under the proposed scheme is maintained for at least 30 days.EFFECT: method leads to development in experimental animals of steatohepatitis, characterized by membrane destruction, signs of fatty, hydropic dystrophy, violation of histological architectonics of morphofunctional units of liver, that is, to histological changes typical for patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.1 cl, 2 tbl |
