titleOfInvention Method of simulating retinal pigment epithelium atrophy
abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for simulation of retinal pigment epithelium atrophy. Solution is injected into the subretinal space to form a subretinal bladder. Solution used is 0.9 % sodium chloride in amount of 0.03 ml, which is introduced at 0.5 pd below the optic disc.EFFECT: method provides an adequate clinical-functional and morphological model of retinal pigment epithelium atrophy, reflecting the closest natural process to the natural process, by introducing 0_9 % sodium chloride solution into subretinal space to form a subretinal bladder, which leads to irreversible changes in the form of degeneration of the photoreceptor retinal layer and atrophy of retinal pigment epithelium.1 cl, 5 dwg
