abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical diagnostics, and can be used for early prediction of the risk of acute renal injury in patients with ischemic heart disease following myocardial revascularization by coronary artery bypass grafting. Level of MMP-8 and TIMP-1 in blood serum is determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. If the MMP-8 level is more than 1.4 ng/ml in the preoperative period and more than 1.1 ng/ml on 1 st postoperative day, concentration of its TIMP-1 inhibitor lower than 221.1 ng/ml before CABG and below 230.3 ng/ml after it, high risk of renal complications following aortocoronary bypass is determined. n EFFECT: method enables early prediction of the risk of acute renal injury in the patients with coronary artery disease following CHD by determining reliable criteria for the risk of acute renal injury in the patients with CHD after coronary artery bypass grafting, namely: increase of MMP-8 level and decrease of TIMP-1 in blood serum before CABG and then on the first postoperative day, which enables to predict the risk of renal complications in a short period of time and to adopt the necessary strategy of therapy of the given pathological condition. n 1 cl, 1 tbl, 2 dwg, 2 ex |
