titleOfInvention Method for forming risk group for developing allergic pathology in preschool children living in territory with high content of manganese and nickel
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to paediatrics, clinical allergology, toxicology, and can be used to form a risk group for developing allergic pathology in preschool children living in a territory with high content of manganese and nickel. If observing a clinical pathology of ENT-organs, and/or astheno-vegetative syndrome, and/or secondary immune deficiency in a child's clinical examination, a content of manganese and nickel is determined in the child's blood sample. If observing the presence of said metals in a child's sample at least 1.7 times higher than the background level equal to manganese 0.01300 ± 0.00397 mg/dm 3 and nickel 0.00225 ± 0.00202 mg/dm 3 , prognostic functional and laboratory values are determined. Functional index is a rhythmogram class. Laboratory factors are leukocyte levels; relative content of monocytes; relative content of eosinophils; antioxidant activity (AOA); total immunoglobulin E(IgE); immunoglobulin M(IgM). If a child has a second class of rhythmogram, as well as if observing the following deviations of laboratory prognostic indices: exceeding relative to upper physiological age norm of leukocyte count by 7 % and more; relative monocyte content by 29 % and more; relative content of eosinophils by 47 % and more and total IgE by 103 % and more; reduced relative to the lower physiological age standard AOA level by 7 % and more and IgM level by 4 % and more, the child is referred to a group of children with a high probability of allergic pathology associated with combined industrial impact of manganese and nickel. n EFFECT: method provides reliable inclusion of preschool children living on the territory with high content of manganese and nickel, at the pre-clinical stage into a group with a high probability of allergic pathology, expressed in the form of atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, by determining the proposed prognostic criteria: rhythmogram values, leukocyte, monocyte, eosinophil, AOA, IgE, IgM levels, the clinical significance of which is proved by correlation-regression analysis, as well as additional information link of changes of the above cumulative criteria to presence of manganese and nickel in blood. n 1 cl, 3 tbl, 1 ex
