abstract | FIELD: technological processes. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of nanocrystalline titanium dioxide powders, which can be used for photocatalytic treatment and disinfection of air and water, creation of photoelectric energy converters, novel composite and catalytic materials, and can be used in power engineering, in chemical industry, in furniture industry in making disinfecting coatings for furniture, coatings for curtains and louvres. Method of producing photocatalytically active nanocrystalline titanium dioxide in crystalline modification of anatase involves preparation of initial solutions – titanium tetraisopropylate in absolute isopropanol, water in isopropanol, their subsequent mixing and thermal treatment, wherein mixing of initial solutions is carried out in microreactor with colliding jets, angle between which in vertical plane is set in range from 70° up to 120°, and costs of initial solutions are set equal and providing conditions at which in jet collision liquid veil with average thickness of about 10–20 mcm is formed, in which there is contact and intensive mixing of initial solutions, followed by separation of formed amorphous precipitate from solution and thermal treatment of precipitate at temperature 350 °C for 30 minutes, during which crystalline anatase phase is formed. n EFFECT: invention enables to obtain photocatalytically active nanocrystalline titanium dioxide of anatase modification while reducing the duration of the hydrolysis reaction and reducing total power consumption for obtaining a unit of product weight on an industrial scale. n 1 cl, 4 dwg, 1 tbl |
