titleOfInvention Method of producing adhesive additive for road bitumen
abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry, specifically to production of chemical reagents, which are a product of condensation of fatty acids and amines used as an additive for road bitumen. Adhesive additive for road bitumen is obtained by condensation of higher carboxylic acids with amine-containing compounds while heating with distillation of water after condensation reaction. Amine-containing compound is aminoethylethanolamine or a mixture of amino compounds containing aminoethylethanolamine. Condensation is carried out in two steps in excess of aminoethylethanolamine in molar ratio of higher carboxylic acids and aminoethylethanolamine 1:1.1–1.5 respectively. Condensation is carried out at 170–220 °C in two steps: at the first stage, the reaction mass is held for at least 5 hours, and at the second stage – under vacuum for at least 2 hours. n EFFECT: invention enables to create an effective adhesion additive for road bitumen, which does not require dilution with an organic solvent, and provides strong adhesion of bitumen with mineral material at concentration of the adhesive additive in bitumen of up to 0_5 wt%. n 5 cl, 2 tbl, 7 ex
