FIELD: chemical or physical processes.SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing a conjugated diene, involving: step A, allowing isobutene and formaldehyde to react with each other to obtain 3-methyl-3-buten-1-ol; step A' of washing the reaction liquid with an alkaline aqueous solution, wherein said washing involves reacting the reaction liquid with an alkaline aqueous solution; stage of organic layer obtained after said washing distillation, to obtain purified 3-methyl-3-buten-1-ol; and step B, where 3-methyl-3-buten-1-ol is subjected to a dehydration reaction at 135–210 °C in the presence of an aqueous solution of an acid catalyst.EFFECT: disclosed method enables to obtain a desired conjugated diene with high selectivity.7 cl, 2 tbl, 10 ex |
