abstract FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to corrosion inhibitors for coolants of refrigerating systems, internal combustion engines, pipeline transport of communal and oil and gas systems, and so forth. Composition for inhibiting corrosion includes corrosion inhibitors from a series: sodium nitrite, sodium benzoate, sodium tetraborate, products of reaction of glycerine with formic acid or their mixtures, buffer compositions based on organic salt of single-, di- or trisodium or potassium citrate and inorganic salts, including mono-, di- and tri-substituted phosphate, polyphosphates, borax, additionally having a clathrate shell in form of macrocyclic molecules, consisting of: ammoniates, complexons based on crown ethers, as well as products of reaction of ethylenetetraacetic acid with tannin, quinoline, dimethylglyoxime, 1-nitroso-2-naphthol, cysteine, additionally, additionally contains in the clathrate shell corrosion medium activity sensors selected from: hydroxyquinoline and ethylene diamine, sensitive to corrosion products, under the action of which the clathrate cladding is destroyed, and releasing corrosion inhibitors.EFFECT: invention provides high efficiency of clathrate corrosion inhibitor.1 cl, 4 tbl
