titleOfInvention Method of producing dyed workpiece for dental restoration (embodiments), billet and dental restoration made from such billet (embodiments)
abstract FIELD: medicine; chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: group of inventions involves a method for making a dyed workpiece for dental restoration (embodiments), a workpiece and a dental restoration made from such a billet (embodiments), relates to dentistry and is intended for making dentures. Method of producing a coloured zirconium dioxide-containing billet for making a dental restoration comprises the steps of forming at least a first and a second mixture by mixing the starting materials in powder form, first layer of first ceramic material consisting of said first mixture is introduced into mould to form first open cavity in said layer, introducing into said first open cavity at least a second ceramic material consisting of said second mixture, after introduction of said layers are pressed and then sintering said layers. At least first and second mixtures are created by mixing initial materials in form of powder, in which zirconium dioxide is the main component, wherein at least some of said starting materials contain one colouring element each, wherein colouring elements in starting materials in form of powder are at least terbium, erbium, cobalt, as well as one element which creates a fluorescent effect in dental restoration, wherein iron, with the exception of natural impurities, is not present, wherein composition of second mixture is different from composition of first mixture. Content of the element creating the fluorescent effect in the first ceramic material differs from the content of that in the second ceramic material. Dental restoration, in particular a crown or a partial crown, is made of a workpiece. Restoration is monolithic and consists of at least a first layer consisting of a first ceramic material and located on the cutting side, and a second layer consisting of a second ceramic material and located on the dentin side. First layer has higher transparency and/or lower stiffness, and/or a lower degree of fluorescence than the second layer. n EFFECT: inventions widens the range of tools for the specified purpose. n 44 cl, 12 dwg
