titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for producing a three-dimensional multicellular object
abstract FIELD: biotechnology.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology for producing a three-dimensional multicellular object by biopressing, in particular to a method of producing a three-dimensional multicellular object, in which polymerised structures are obtained by layers by irradiation with light beams, and to a device for implementing such a method, and to use of said device for producing an artificial organ. Device for producing a three-dimensional multicellular object from liquids with the possibility of photopolymerization contains reaction vessel (4), light source (1, 2). Latter is designed and arranged with the possibility of radiation of a predefined pattern of light at definite zones in the focal plane into reaction vessel (4). Reservoir (7) with several chambers for storage of different fluids with the possibility of photopolymerization, pump (9), made with possibility of fluid communication with one of chambers (6) of reservoir (7) with several chambers and reaction vessel (4) for introduction of one of different liquids with possibility of photopolymerization into reaction vessel (4) and their release from reaction vessel, electric motor (14) made with possibility of lowering reaction vessel (4), and control unit (13) for control of pattern created by light source (1, 2), pump (9) and electric motor (14). Control unit (13) is configured to control light source (1, 2) at the first polymerisation step for emitting light to said defined areas in the focal plane for polymerisation of the first liquid with the possibility of photopolymerization, with possibility to control pump for release of unpolymerised liquid with possibility of photopolymerization from reaction vessel (4) and introduction into reaction vessel (4) of second liquid with possibility of photopolymerization, and to control light source (1, 2) at a second polymerisation step for emitting light in the same focal plane to zones which have not previously been exposed to light during the first polymerisation step, for polymerisation of the second liquid with the possibility of photopolymerization. Method for producing a three-dimensional multicellular object using a device for producing a three-dimensional multicellular object comprises: introducing a first liquid with the possibility of photopolymerization from reservoir (7) into reaction vessel (4); focusing the first light beam from light source (1, 2) on certain areas in the focal plane lying in the area of reaction vessel (4) filled with the first liquid; obtaining a first polymerised structure in a first layer in reaction vessel (4) by means of a first light beam in said defined zones; Release of unpolymerised first liquid with possibility of photopolymerization from reaction vessel (4). Further, additional liquid is added with the possibility of photopolymerization from reservoir (7) into reaction vessel (4) so that the areas inside the focal plane which have not been exposed to light are coated with an additional liquid with the possibility of photopolymerization. Additional light beam is focused from light source (1, 2) to said focal plane lying in the zone of reaction vessel (4), filled with additional liquid to obtain additional polymerised structure in same layer in reaction vessel (4) by means of additional light beam. Said additional polymerised structure and first polymerised structure form a heterogeneous layer. Reaction vessel (4) is lowered to a distance corresponding to the thickness of the polymerised structure of one layer for changing the focal plane inside reaction vessel (4). Then, said above techniques are repeated each time with the same or another liquid with the possibility of photopolymerization to obtain a three-dimensional multicellular object. First liquid with the possibility of photopolymerization and/or at least one of the additional fluids with the possibility of photopolymerization contain (contains) biological cells. More than one polymerised structure is obtained in the same layer.EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher accuracy and efficiency of the process of structuring a three-dimensional biological object with possible simple materials and convenience when producing multicellular structures (three-dimensional objects), as well as possibility of reproducibility of different copies of the same three-dimensional multi-cell object with simultaneous provision of identical quality of the obtained objects.14 cl, 3 dwg
