abstract FIELD: biotechnology, medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology, pharmacy, medicine, cosmetology, veterinary science and can be used for preventing and treating bacterial and viral diseases in humans and animals, and also relates to production of a wide range of sanitary-hygienic and medical products. Disclosed is a thermally stable composition having antiviral and antibacterial activity, which is a lyophilizate with human recombinant interferon gamma activity of 500,000 to 2,000,000 IU/g and lysostaphin activity of 50 to 200 units/g, which is obtained from a solution with pH 5–7 and contains in 1 g of composition: human recombinant interferon gamma 0.03–0.12 mg; lysostaphin 0.17–0.68 mg; methoxy-polyethylene glycol 30–150 mg; sodium alginate 10–25 mg; disubstituted dihydrogen phosphate in amount of 120–250 mg; citric acid 35–110 mg; dextran is balance. Also disclosed are the following agents and articles containing said composition: oral care means, which is an aqueous solution of the composition; tooth paste; a sanitary article comprising a main cloth consisting of cotton and/or cellulose and/or viscose and/or synthetic materials or a mixture thereof, and said composition; disposable absorbent article representing one of the following articles: a tampon, a sanitary towel, a daily towel, containing a carrier and the above sanitary-hygienic product; sanitary-hygienic wet article, which is an absorbent material impregnated with said composition; skin care means; a sanitary-hygienic composition containing said composition and an acceptable liquid base; a sanitary-hygienic agent, which is a gel containing an acceptable base (carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium alginate, a preserving agent) and said composition; conditioner for linen; condom lubricant, a drug exhibiting antiviral and antibacterial activity; a medical product having antiviral and antibacterial activity, which is a face mask, or a bandage, or disposable gloves; medical product representing a local application sponge on which said composition is applied.EFFECT: using the group of inventions, the following technical results are achieved: preservation and stabilization of biological properties of two different proteins: human recombinant gamma and lysostaphin interferon under standard storage conditions for a long period of time; obtaining a composition having high antiviral and antibacterial activity, and various agents and articles with its use, providing complex protection of human against penetration of bacterial and viral infections; possibility of using said composition without loss of properties and activity in large-scale production of disclosed articles and means.44 cl, 2 tbl, 44 ex
