abstract | FIELD: hygiene.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to powder substances for supra- and/or subgingival powder cleaning of dental surface. Disclosed is use of a disaccharide selected from trehalose, palatinose or a mixture thereof, where said disaccharide has average particle size of 10 to 80 mcm and density of not more than 2.0 g/cm, as abrasive and/or polishing material for preparation of powder for supra- and/or subgingival powder cleaning of tooth surface, as well as abrasive and/or polishing material in powder for powder brushing of teeth for therapy and/or prevention of diseases of roots of teeth, respectively, dental diseases. Disclosed is a powdered composition for powder-jet brushing, comprising a disaccharide selected from trehalose, palatinose or mixtures thereof, wherein said disaccharide has an average particle size of 10 to 80 microns and a density of not more than 2.0 g/cm, a first abrasive and/or polishing material in an amount of from 70 to 99.9 wt. % and as at least a first additional component, anti-caking agents in amount of 0.1 to 30.0 wt %, wherein amounts of all components are in amount of 100 wt %. Also disclosed is use of said composition as a powder for sub- and/or subgingival powder cleaning of the dental surface, and a set for supra- and subgingival powder cleaning of the dental surface, containing a powder-jet apparatus and said powder composition.EFFECT: using the group of inventions provides sparing treatment of the dental surface, effective and comfortable for patients cleaning the dental surface (roots) and an optimum alternative to existing powders, as well as overcoming disadvantages inherent in powders based on sodium bicarbonate, in particular, such as high dentin and dentine cement abrasiveness.13 cl, 1 tbl, 2 ex, 1 dwg |
