titleOfInvention | Method of extracting heavy metals from aqueous solutions |
abstract | FIELD: treatment of water, industrial and household waste water.SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in water treatment. Effluents from heavy metal ions are treated by sorption. Sorbent based on the modified gel film of bacterial cellulose is added to the purified water and held for 60 minutes at room temperature. Sorbent is obtained by biological synthesis in static culturing conditions for 5 days. Purification of obtained sorbent is carried out with 0.5 % sodium hydroxide solution for 120 minutes, washed with water to pH 7.0, is oxidized in 0.3 mM solution of (2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-1-yl)oxyl, 28 mM sodium bromide and 5 mM sodium hypochlorite for 60 min at temperature of 25 °C with a sorbent: solution modulus of 1:500, at pH 10.0 with subsequent washing with water after termination of oxidation reaction to pH 5.5.EFFECT: disclosed sorbent increases degree of extraction of heavy metal ions from waste water.1 cl, 2 ex |
