FIELD: nanotechnologies. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology and can be used in making electronic devices, as well as for injection of charges into volume of condensed media at cryogenic temperatures. Layer of carbon nanotubes is deposited on metal substrate by deposition in arc discharge. After that, substrate with applied layer of carbon nanotubes is held in atmosphere of hydrogen at pressure of 80–90 atm. n EFFECT: invention reduces the voltage required to generate negative electron charge emission current in the obtained cold cathode; for example, for creation of electron current in 10 -12 A from cold cathode made according to invention, into superfluid helium, on cold cathode it is necessary to apply voltage less than or equal to 50 V, which is 4,4 times lower than that of analogues. n 1 cl, 4 ex |
