FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing hexadecahydropyrene, comprising: adding a starting material – hydrocarbon oil containing pyrene compounds to a hydrogenation reaction in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst to produce hexadecahydropyrene. Pyrene compounds are selected from at least one substance from pyrene and its unsaturated hydrogenation products, the hydrogenation catalyst contains a carrier and an active metal component supported on the support, active metal component is Pt and/or Pd, the support contains fine crystalline zeolite Y, aluminum oxide and amorphous aluminosilicate, fine crystalline zeolite Y has average grain diameter of 200–700 nm, molar ratio SiO/AlO40–120, relative crystallinity ≥95 %, specific surface area 900–1,200 m/g, and fraction of secondary pore diameter 1.7–10 nm is 50 % or more of total volume pores. Hydrogenation reaction process involves two reaction steps which are successively performed, percentage xof the active metal component in the hydrogenation catalyst used in the first reaction step, lower than percentage xof the active metal component in the hydrogenation catalyst used at the second reaction step and the percentage content yof fine zeolite Y in the hydrogenation catalyst used in the first reaction step, higher than the percentage yof fine crystalline zeolite Y in the hydrogenation catalyst used at the second reaction step.EFFECT: obtaining high-purity hexadecahydropyrene product with high output.21 cl, 14 ex, 7 tbl, 2 dwg |
