FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of nanostructured composite material based on aluminum modified with Cfullerene. It can be used in machine building and aerospace industry. Mixture of alloy chips of aluminum containing 6 wt% magnesium, and fullerene Cpowder in amount of 0.1÷0.5 wt% is treated in planetary ball mill for 45 minutes at rotation speed 1,800 rpm. Produced powder mixture is pressed at 550 mm into billet with diameter of 50 mm and subjected to direct hot extrusion with deformation degree of 6.2 at pressure of 1–1.5 GPa and temperature of 280 °C.EFFECT: improved mechanical properties while maintaining density at the level of initial matrix alloy.1 cl, 3 dwg, 3 tbl, 2 ex |
