abstract FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refractory objects from chromium oxide, which can be used as lining blocks or blocks for glass melting unit. Sintered refractory object contains at least about 80 wt. % of CrOfraction, at least about 0.7 wt. % of AlOfraction and not more than 10.0 wt. %, at least about 0.3 wt. % of SiOfraction and not more than 5.0 wt. % and a fraction of TiOis at least about 1.0 wt. % and not more than 5.6 wt. % TiOof total weight of refractory object. AlOfraction ratio to SiOfraction, wt. % ranges from 1 to 8.
