titleOfInvention Method of electropolishing of metal part
abstract FIELD: technological processes.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of electropolishing parts of metals and alloys. Proposed method comprises immersing the part in conductive medium and feeding opposite sign of electric potential to part and conducting medium. Electropolishing is carried out in the medium of granules made from anion exchangers impregnated with an electrolyte solution, which provides electrical conductivity of said granules and ion flaking of metal from the surface of the part with removal of microprotrusions therefrom. During polishing brushes with bristles are installed from dielectric material around part, contact of bristles of brush with processed surface of part, providing contact of entire polished part surface with said granules and granules to each other, bringing brushes and / or part into rotary motion, supplying to part and granules electric potential, providing ion removal of metal from the surface of the treated part and its polishing in the medium of said granules to obtain a given roughness of the polished surface.EFFECT: invention can be used for processing surfaces of blades of turbomachines for improving their operational characteristics.6 cl, 4 dwg
