titleOfInvention Agent for treating skin damages and method for production thereof (embodiments)
abstract FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to an agent for treating skin injuries, as well as to a method for preparing said agent (embodiments). Agent for treating skin damages contains active substance furacilin and a gel base - a cross-linked polymer of acrylic acid, polyvinylpyrrolidone with molecular weight 10,000 ± 2,000, purified water and, optionally, glycerine in certain proportions. Method of producing the agent is characterized by that furacilin and polyvinylpyrrolidone are dissolved in purified water at 95 ± 5 °C, a cross-linked acrylic acid polymer is added, pH is adjusted to 4–9, the remaining furacilin solution is added and polyvinylpyrrolidone with subsequent introduction of glycerol in its presence in the agent, the obtained mass is mixed until gel formation. Method for preparing the agent containing furacilin 0.01–0.03 wt. % is characterized by that purified water is divided into two parts, from one part is prepared solution of furacilin and polyvinylpyrrolidone at temperature 95 ± 5 °C and cooling the obtained solution to room temperature; from the other part, a gel base is prepared by dissolving in water a cross-linked polymer of acrylic acid, bringing pH to 4–9; obtained aqueous solution of furacilin and polyvinylpyrrolidone is mixed with a gel base, glycerol is added if available in the composition of the agent and the obtained mass is mixed until gel forms.EFFECT: agent produced by the method described above (embodiments) is characterized by a high degree of releasing furacilin from gel 55–60 %, high therapeutic concentration in the skin lesion to 0,18–0,20 g/l, expressed antimicrobial effect.5 cl, 2 dwg, 3 tbl, 8 ex
