abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of dosage forms in the form of vinpocetine-containing microcapsules. Method of producing vinpocetine microcapsules with a chitosan-based shell and alginic acid salts involves preparing a homogeneous suspension of vinpocetine in 1–3 % aqueous solution of sodium alginate, extruding a suspension containing vinpocetine in concentration of 0.2 mg/ml, using syringe with 100 mcm needle by releasing a fluid flow to obtain a continuous stream of microdroplets of similar size in 0.5 % (w/v) solution of chitosan in 1.0 % acetic acid; holding obtained microcapsule nuclei in chitosan solution in 1.0 % acetic acid for 30 minutes; adding to solution chitosan containing microcapsules, weighed portions of calcium chloride powder in amount required to obtain 2.0 % solution with complete dissolution of reagent with vigorous stirring, subsequent maintenance of microcapsules in obtained solution for 30 minutes, extracting microcapsules from solution, washing three times with distilled water and drying in a drying cabinet at 35 °C until constant weight is maintained. n EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing vinpocetine microcapsules. n 1 cl, 3 dwg, 1 ex
