Disclosed is a method of producing a dry composition for making haemostatic paste, comprising steps of mixing gelatine in a powder form, an aqueous medium and an alkaline/acidic compound to produce paste and sublimation drying paste, wherein the alkali/acid compound is able to react with the acidic/alkaline compound in the aqueous medium with release of COgas.
