abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental oncology, and is intended for anesthesia in Balb/c Nude mice in surgical interventions. Method of anesthesia in Balb/c Nude mice in surgical interventions involves xylazine premedication intramuscularly and anesthesia with the help of "Zoletil 100", which is administered intramuscularly. A preparation of xylazine with concentration of 20 mg/ml is introduced in dose of 1.5 ml/kg. In 15 minutes after pre-medication preparation "Zoletil 100" is introduced in the form of aqueous solution with concentration of 22.57 mg/ml in dose of 67.5 mg/kg of body weight of Balb/c Nude mice.EFFECT: use of the invention provides humane treatment of Balb/c Nude mice in surgical interventions due to optimal depth of anesthesia and minimal toxic effect on the body of mice.1 cl, 1 ex
