abstract | FIELD: biotechnology.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology, particularly to methods of producing recombinant glycoprotein in fermentation culture in a CHO cell by controlling concentrations of iron, copper, zinc and manganese in the medium. In one embodiment, concentration of iron, copper, zinc and manganese is increased in serum-free culture medium at the beginning and/or during both growth phase and phase of fermentation product formation to increase biomass formation. In the second embodiment, concentration of zinc and manganese is increased, and concentration of iron and copper in serum-free culture medium at the beginning and/or during both growth phase and phase of product formation is optionally decreased to increase production of G0, G1 or G2 of recombinant glycoprotein glycoform.
