titleOfInvention | Method for prediction of effective treatment with roflumilast of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease phenotype "with frequent exacerbations" |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and represents a method for prediction of effective treatment with roflumilast of patients with COPD phenotype "with frequent exacerbations", including prior to treatment with roflumilast assessment of patient's life quality by CAT test, blood sampling for the level of biomarkers of systemic inflammation – C-reactive protein (CRP) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in the blood serum, and then a discriminant equation is solved: D=8.44-0.20*(CAT)-0.39*(CRP)-0.12*(IL-6), where CAT – COPD Assessment Test – in scores, CRP – C-reactive protein in mg/l, IL-6 – interleukin-6 in pg/l, wherein D value more than 1.36 is predicted effective treatment with roflumilast for 12 months in combination with basic therapy preparations, and if D is less than and equal to 1.36, effective treatment with roflumilast for 12 months in combination with preparations of basic therapy is not predicted. n EFFECT: invention provides a simple and fast-to-implement method which provides prediction accuracy of 93,3 %. n 1 cl, 2 ex |
