titleOfInvention Method of producing zsm-12 flake zeolite with mtw structure
abstract FIELD: technological processes. n SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses a method of producing aluminosilicate scaly zeolite with MTW structure (ZSM-12 type). ZSM-12 type scaly zeolite (with MTW structure) can be used for catalytic processes of selective isomerization-transalkylation of components of benzene-toluene-xylene fraction and a number of other aromatic hydrocarbons. Zeolite synthesized according to the present method has flakes on the surface of crystallites obtained due to phenolphthalein. Synthesized product has the following characteristics: degree of crystallinity – not less than 90 %; content of sodium oxide in H-form of final product – not more than 0.05 %; SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 ratio – from 50 to 300; thickness of flake from 5 to 15 nm, flake length from 0.5 mcm to 1.2 mcm. Method of producing scaly ZSM-12 type zeolite with MTW structure is characterized by mixing an aqueous solution with pH 11.5–13.5 containing an aluminum compound, templates and phenolphthalein, with an aqueous solution containing a silicon compound, to obtain a gel-like mass, wherein the mixture of solutions is prepared based on observing the following molar ratios of the components used: template/SiO 2 =0.05–0.15, phenolphthalein/SiO 2 =0.01–0.05, SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 =50–300, H 2 O/SiO 2 =4–15 to obtain a gelatinous mass; method includes crystallizing the obtained gel-like mass with subsequent extraction of crystalline product, followed by washing with distilled water, drying to constant weight and annealing at 550±10 °C for 8–12 hours; then ion exchange reaction is carried out with aqueous solution of ammonium salt with subsequent separation of product, washing it with distilled water, drying to constant weight and calcination at 500±10 °C for 4–7 hours. n EFFECT: obtaining zeolite (degree of crystallinity of more than 90 %) of a flake structure with a flake thickness of 5–15 nm and length of 0,5 mcm to 1,2 mcm, with sodium oxide content in the finished product of not more than 0,05 %, for a time not exceeding 220 hours. n 15 cl, 2 dwg, 7 ex
