abstract | FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to toners for electrophotographic processes. Toner contains a biologically based complex polyester resin, a crystalline polyester resin (CPE) resin, an optional dye, optionally a wax and, optionally, a resin monomer containing bisphenol A (BPA). Said toner contains 0 % BPA. Said bio-based resin contains a mixture of colophony diol, bis-colophon alcohol and rosin carbonate in an amount of not more than 6 mol. %. Said CPE consists of an acid monomer containing not more than 10 methylene groups and an alcohol monomer containing not more than 10 methylene groups, wherein said monomers together contain 16 or less methylene groups.
