abstract FIELD: hygiene. n SUBSTANCE: disclosed are nonwoven materials (and films) for an upper sheet and a receiving/distribution layer, treated with a hydrophilic finishing agent which does not contain synthetic surfactants, absorbent products for babies or for incontinence care, which contain said materials, and methods for application of such dressings and/or manufacturing of similar absorbent products. Disclosed are an upper sheet or other receiving/distribution materials from a novel nonwoven material or film, which has a hydrophilic finish, not containing synthetic surfactants, which is suitable for absorbent products, which are intended for babies or for incontinence care and which contain said materials. n EFFECT: said materials are made by careful processing of raw materials not finished with sintering, in the absence of air bubbles by means of an aqueous solution of hydrophilic finishing agent containing no synthetic surfactants, and subsequent drying of materials. n 29 cl, 15 dwg, 8 tbl
