titleOfInvention Method of making removable reinforced denture
abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedic dentistry, and is intended for use in dental prosthetics, particularly in the technology of making removable prostheses, mainly with a titanium base. Method for making a complete removable denture with a titanium base involves creating a computer model of the prosthesis with developing its structure, production of casting mold and use of pre-fabricated dental elements. Impression computer model is created using a scanning device for intra-oral scanning, simulating power characteristics of the chewing process, using obtained 3D image of the prosthesis, performing computer designing, calculating optimal geometrical parameters of the prosthesis, optimum shape and thickness of the base from the sheet workpiece with thickness of not more than 1 mm, making the base by stamping along the elastic matrix. Working surface of puncheon is processed on machine with numerical program control by generated control program developed based on said model, wax reproduction is simulated by placing a derived base and dental elements in it, a casting mold is made, in which after its hardening a facing polymer is poured.EFFECT: invention enables to reduce labour intensity and improve technical and economic indices of the technology of making a removable prosthesis using modern materials.1 cl, 1 dwg
