titleOfInvention | Method of combined non-invasive treatment of urinary incontinence in patients after radical prostatectomy |
abstract | FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: method refers to medicine, namely to therapy, and can be used for combined non-invasive treatment of urinary incontinence in patients after radical prostatectomy. Solifenacin is prescribed in dose of 5 mg day for 1 month. Simultaneously with a course of therapy soliphenacin 10 courses of the BFB-therapy are prescribed. During the session, the active external electrodes on the right and left are installed on the perianal area for recording EMG activity of the pelvic floor muscles. Two external electrodes are placed on the anterior abdominal wall and two electrodes – on the area of the crest of pelvic bones. First, the required muscle groups are identified by performing a test electric stimulation for 7–10 minutes and 20-minute session of the BFB-therapy. A regimen aimed at contracting the pelvic floor muscles is selected depending on the pain threshold of the patient.EFFECT: method provides non-invasive treatment of urinary incontinence due to simultaneous use of solifenacin and biofeedback therapy.1 cl, 2 dwg, 2 tbl, 1 ex |
