titleOfInvention Method of cochlear implantation in internal ear anomalies with incomplete cochlear separation
abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology and can be used in cochlear implantation in internal ear abnormalities. That is followed by anthromastoidotomy. A posterior tympanostoma is applied in the projection of the face pocket towards the tympanum. That is followed by removing a portion of the upper bone wall of the volute window. Secondary membrane is dissected by microneedle. A window of the volute is expanded. Its walls are removed along the main curl till complete visualization of the lumen of the cochlea, internal ear structures. Then lower edge of spiral ligament is removed upwards by means of tip of suction cannula and spouting liquor is removed. An electrode grid is inserted into a tympanic ladder under a spiral bunch in the direction of the main spiral. That is followed by intraoperative CT diagnosis for location of the electrode in the scroll. Standard intraoperative testing of the implant is performed.EFFECT: method provides a good view of the lumen of the tympanic staircase, eliminates postoperative intracranial complications, correctly locates the electrode array of the cochlear implant in the sciatic lodge with incomplete separation of the lumen of various types of cochlea.1 cl, 10 dwg, 2 ex
