abstract FIELD: oil and gas industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil-processing and petrochemical industries. Disclosed is a micro-mesoporous catalyst for isomerization of aromatic hydrocarbons C-8, which consists of a carrier containing, wt%: zeolite type ZSM-5 – 10.0–75.0, zeolite type ZSM-12 – 5.0–70.0, gamma-aluminum oxide – the rest up to 100 and platinum group metal applied on the carrier in amount of 0.1–5.0 % of the catalyst weight.EFFECT: technical result consists in using ZSM-5/ZSM-12 combined zeolite as an active phase of the carrier, which facilitates realization of metaxylene isomerization bimolecular mechanism and involving ethylbenzene disproportionation products into it, which leads to increased conversion of the latter and target para-xylene output; use of the combined zeolite ZSM-5/ZSM-12 zeolite in the active phase structure enables to reduce the proportion of disproportionation reactions of xylenes to toluene occurring in micropores of the zeolite ZSM-5, and as a result, reduce losses of xylenes.1 cl, 1 tbl, 6 ex
