abstract FIELD: packaging industry. n SUBSTANCE: lid (14) of aluminum beverage can comprises eye (38), wall (26) defining diameter (B) for insertion of lid into can body, chute (28) and central panel (30) having radius (48). On the central panel there is incision line (34) defining tear-off panel (32) and rivet (40) for connecting the lug to the lid of the tin. Lid has diameter for its introduction into can body equal to 45–49 mm, outer diameter of 52–55 mm and weight of less than 1.9 g. Central panel has thickness of less than 0.19 mm. Rivet is located with displacement from the central panel center. Rivet is inclined so that it forms eye axis of rotation, located at angle of 2–4° relative to vertical axis of central panel, and/or on one or both sides of tab there is at least one inclined roller (56). n EFFECT: proposed aluminum beverage can lid. n 20 cl, 13 dwg
