abstract | FIELD: tobacco industry. n SUBSTANCE: method of forming a homogenised tobacco material, comprising steps of: forming homogenised suspension (104) containing tobacco powder; method comprises casting homogenised suspension onto moving belt (105); applying porous reinforcing sheet (205) onto surface of cast homogenised suspension (201) so that porous reinforcing sheet is built-in inside cast homogenised suspension; and drying the cast homogenised suspension with cellulose sheet (207) embedded therein to form a homogenised tobacco material. Porous reinforcing sheet has anisotropic properties, so that it has higher tensile strength in its longitudinal direction than in its transverse direction. n EFFECT: enabling considerable increase in the strength of the homogenized tobacco sheet as compared to the production methods known from the prior art, without any significant change in the total composition of the homogenised tobacco material. n 20 cl, 2 dwg |
