titleOfInvention | Method for prevention of intraoperative haemorrhagic complications in surgery of proliferative diabetic retinopathy |
abstract | FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To prevent intraoperative haemorrhagic complications in the surgery of proliferative diabetic retinopathy, standard 3-port vitrectomy is performed, with removal of a vitreous body, a schwartectomy, a membraneectomy, mobilization of the retina with expansion thereof by administering a perfluororganic compound; limiting the edges and ruptures of the retina with endolaser coagulation of the retina; replacing PFOS with silicone oil 5,700 cSt. In preoperative preparation, 5 ml of solution containing 250 mg of trexamic acid is added to a bottle with a saline balanced BSS solution, which is connected to an irrigation system, due to which haemostasis of haemorrhages is performed in the course of surgical intervention with automatic delivery of the solution into the vitreal cavity.EFFECT: method reduces haemorrhage of vessels and tissues, prevents accumulation of blood on the retinal surface, eliminates the risk of hyphema, provides optimal visualization of the operating field.1 cl, 2 ex |
