abstract FIELD: instrument engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of analytical devices for determination of water content in heavy water and aprotic solvents. Disclosed is a sensor luminescent material luminescing when excited by ultraviolet radiation in range of 220–395 nm and is a mixed-metal complex of europium (Eu) and terbium (Tb) with azolarboxylic acid. Said material has formula EuTb(A), where 0.1<x<0.66 is terbium mole fraction mixed with europium in the composition of the complex, A is azolecarboxylic acid, one of which is: 1,2,3-triazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid, 1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid, 1H-pyrazole-3,5-dicarboxylic acid. Invention also describes a method of producing said material, a method of determining water content in the analyzed liquid, such as heavy water.EFFECT: invention simplifies and reduces the cost of the method of determining water content in heavy water with wider range of technical means for creating and using sensor luminescent material.7 cl, 2 dwg, 3 ex
