abstract |
FIELD: technological processes.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of sulfur-containing additives improving lubricating properties of oil and synthetic oils and lubricants based on said oils. Method of producing sulfur-containing additives to lubricating oils comprises placing castor oil in a temperature-controlled reactor equipped with a stirrer and a thermometer and heating to 100 °C with intense stirring, then recrystallised from toluene sulfur is added, reaction mixture is heated to 215 °C, held for 1 hour with intense stirring and temperature of 210–215 °C, then reaction mixture is cooled to room temperature.EFFECT: simplified method of obtaining anti-wear and anti-seized additives and reduced toxicity of additives for lubricants operating at high pressures, particularly additives for reducing oils with improved anti-seizure properties.1 cl, 1 tbl, 2 ex |
