abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to rheumatology, therapy, clinical-laboratory diagnostics, and can be used in predicting the probability of developing low-energy bone fractures in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). That is ensured by determining blood serum of the iris protein in the patient's blood serum. If the blood poisonin concentration is 10.85 mcg/ml and lower, a high risk of developing bone fractures is diagnosed. If blood serum concentration exceeds 10.85 mcg/ml, a low risk of fractures is diagnosed. n EFFECT: method provides accurate prediction of the risk of developing low-energy bone fractures in the RA patients by determining the blood serum protein concentration possessing the mykinin properties, which participates in the pathogenesis of RA. n 1 cl, 3 ex
