abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 2,2,5,5-tetraethyl-3-carboxypyrrolidine-1-oxyl of formula I n , n in which the end product is obtained in two steps: obtaining 2,5,5-triethyl-4-carboxy-1-pyrroline-1-oxide (II) through a three-component domino reaction involving α-aminobutyric acid, diethyl ketone and dimethyl fumarate in a mixture of DMF/toluene at boiling point, followed by oxidation with 30 % hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a catalyst and decarboxylation and reaction thereof with ethynyl magnesium bromide, followed by hydrogenation in the presence of catalyst of 4 % palladium on carbon and obtaining 2,2,5,5-tetraethyl-3-carboxypyrroline-1-oxyl. n EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing 2,2,5,5-tetraethyl-3-carboxypyrrolidine-1-oxyl. n 6 cl, 1 dwg, 2 ex
