abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to hygiene, sanitation and disinfectology, and is intended for disinfection and sanitation of indoor air in presence of people and / or animals, as well as for air cleaning from unpleasant smells. Method of photocatalytic air disinfection involves spraying a bactericidal preparation and ultraviolet irradiation of the sprayed preparation. Bactericidal preparation used is a composition containing weight of 0.0001 to 100 % of a photosensitizer – furanocoumarin or derivatives thereof, the rest being neutral components. Radiation is carried out with UV radiation at wave length 320–400 nm, wherein spraying and irradiation is 5–10 minutes day for 15 days. n EFFECT: use of the invention significantly reduces the level of occupancy of rooms while reducing treatment time. n 1 cl, 2 tbl
