titleOfInvention Metal oxide solar cell
abstract FIELD: power engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solar photoelectric engineering, in particular to devices for direct conversion of solar energy. Disclosed is a metal oxide solar cell based on nanostructured metal oxide layers, sensitized with a light absorbing substance, comprising a conductive layer of tin oxide doped with fluorine or indium, and a counter electrode, wherein the light absorbing substance is an organic dye or quantum dots, and the counter electrode is in form of a film of composite material based on graphene and nanoparticles of a rare-earth element, deposited on a conductive coating of tin oxide doped with fluorine or indium. Organic dye absorbs light in range of 400–750 nm, and quantum dots – in range of 500–1,300 nm of solar spectrum.EFFECT: invention provides stable operation of metal oxide solar cell, high efficiency of conversion of solar energy into electric energy, allows to significantly reduce cost of solar cell and simplify process of its construction.4 cl, 1 dwg
