abstract | FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to medical genetics and cardiology, and aims at detecting predisposition of patient to atherosclerosis or preclinical signs of this pathology. PCR-RV measures the expression level of genes closely related to accumulation of cholesterol by human macrophages identified as IL7R, IL7, TIGIT, CXCL8, F2RL1, EIF2AK3, TSPYL2, ANXA1, DUSP1 and IL15. Obtained data are compared with similar values of expression level of the same genes of healthy people. Higher level of mRNA expression of said genes indicates predisposition of the patient to development of atherosclerosis at preclinical stage of pathology.EFFECT: invention simplifies prediction of disease progression and provides its higher prognostic value.1 cl |
