abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for determination of efficiency of lacrimal obturator use. Perform dacryoscintigraphy. An aqueous solution of a radiopharmaceutical – sodium pertechnetate 99 mTc – is placed in a conjunctival sac in the patients with blocked lachrymal points. Thereafter, frame-by-frame shooting is performed on a gamma-visualization apparatus. Obtained images – dacryoscintigrams are obtained, which are used for visual analysis and interpretation of results.EFFECT: method enables visualizing the progress of a radiopharmaceutical installed in a conjunctival sac for evaluating lachrymal ducts, visualize and objectively demonstrate the drainage function of the lachrymal system and confirm the blocking capacity of the lacrimal obturator by using dacryoscintigraphy, using the radiopharmaceutical preparation – sodium pertechnetate 99 mTc.1 cl, 1 ex
