abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to development of dosage forms. Disclosed is a device for delivering an effective substance to a patient, comprising a shell containing a polymer, and a plurality of particles contained within the shell. Particles contain porous particles of a silicon-based support material and an effective substance contained in the pores of particles of said carrier material. Shell contains at least one part which is permeable for the effective substance. Disclosed is a method of producing a device for delivering an effective substance to a patient, involving: obtaining a tube having first and second ends, inserting into the tube a plurality of particles containing porous particles of the silicon-based support material, adding the first member closing the tube to hold particles inside the tube to the first end of the tube and adding a second member closing the tube to hold the particles inside the tube into the second end of the tube.
