abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to genetics, and can be used for prediction of anxiety level. That is ensured by recovering DNA from lymphocytes of peripheral venous blood, genotyping polymorphous A218C loci of serotonin tryptophan hydroxylase-1 (TRN1) biosynthesis enzyme and G-703T gene of serotonin biosynthesis enzyme tryptophan hydroxylase-2 (TRH2) by polymerase chain reaction of DNA synthesis with subsequent restriction. If observing a combination of TRI1 A/A and TPH2 T/G genotypes, a high level of anxiety is predicted, and if a combination of TRI1 C/C and TPH2 G/G genotypes is found, a low level of anxiety is detected.EFFECT: method provides more accurate prediction of the level of anxiety by leveling the effect of environmental factors on the individual at the time of testing.1 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl, 3 ex
