titleOfInvention Method and device for liquid disinfection and heating
abstract FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the technology of treating liquids by microwave energy and can be used in food, medical, microbiological, pharmaceutical industry. Disinfection and heating method involves exposure of processed liquid to microwave energy, which is supplied to tube 5 having cone-shaped expanding shape installed in final coaxial absorbing device, diameter d of which at the input of the final coaxial absorbing device is equal to 0.06–0.15 of the length of the used microwave wave and diameter D at the output of the end coaxial absorbing device of 0.18–0.47 of the length of this microwave wave. Flow of treated liquid is additionally turbulized. Exposure to silver ions is carried out by placing silver wire 6 into the turbulized flow of the treated liquid. Device for liquid disinfection and heating includes one or two microwave generators, rectangular waveguide 2 with flange 1, terminal coaxial absorbing device, tube 5 of radiotransparent material of cone-shaped divergent shape, flow promoter from radiotransparent material, located inside tube 5 and made in form of rod 8, rigidly fixed along longitudinal axis of tube 5, on which discs 7 are fixed, having diameter equal to half of diameter of tube at location of disc. On outer diameters of discs 7 of the vortex generator there is spiral 6 made of one or more coils of silver wire.EFFECT: group of inventions enables to eliminate the process of preparing and dosing an ionic silver solution, reduce the disinfection temperature and power consumption, and increase efficiency.2 cl, 2 tbl, 8 dwg
