abstract FIELD: sewerage.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to treatment and decontamination of domestic, industrial and agricultural waste water and precipitation thereof, and can be used for sewage treatment facilities of low and medium capacity. Method of treating and decontaminating waste water and precipitation thereof involves two-step successive exposure to microwave radiation at total radiation power of 2.0 kW, radiation frequency of 2450 MHz, wherein treatment is carried out in a flow mode, wherein duration of exposure is 4–8 minutes to achieve temperature of liquid medium 50–85 °C. Device contains two chambers with built-in at least one microwave generator, reservoirs of initial and processed liquid medium, pump for liquid medium supply, supply and discharge pipelines, pipelines of treated liquid medium. Chambers are arranged in a shielding casing, which is made of metal. Pipelines of processed liquid medium are made in the form of cylindrical spiral made of radiotransparent material and arranged vertically inside said chambers. Supply and discharge pipelines are equipped with shutoff and control valves, pressure and temperature control devices.EFFECT: high efficiency of the process of treating and neutralizing waste water and precipitation thereof by intensifying the UHF EMO process while ensuring safe operation of the device.6 cl, 4 dwg, 3 tbl
