titleOfInvention Method (embodiments) for detection of solid particles in exhaust gases
abstract FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in sensors of resistive type for detection of solid particles in flow of exhaust gases. Method for detecting solid particles in a flow of exhaust gases consists in that the engine is controlled in accordance with distribution of solid particles on a plurality of pairs of electrodes arranged inside a common body of the solid particle sensor. Distinguishing size of distribution of solid particles based on resistance, measured independently on each separate pair of electrodes from plurality of pairs of electrodes, and further generating current distribution on multiple pairs of electrodes based on resistance on each individual pair of electrodes from a plurality of pairs of electrodes. Disclosed is a version of the method of detecting solid particles in a stream of exhaust gases.EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of detecting solid particles.12 cl, 8 dwg
