abstract FIELD: radiochemical technology. n SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in extraction affinage of plutonium. Method of plutonium extraction and purification includes extraction of plutonium from feed stream, washing of extract and re-extraction of plutonium, correction of composition of re-extract, repeated extraction of plutonium by reverse extraction agent from corrected re-extract, re-re-extraction of plutonium with removal of re-extract from the process as a product stream, processing of raffinate of repeated extraction at the stage of extraction of plutonium from the feed stream and connection of organic flow after repeated re-extraction to the washed extract from the first extraction. First extraction and washing of the extract is performed at temperature of 30–50 °C. Re-extract containing plutonium (III), prior to being withdrawn from the cycle, is treated counter-current with a reverse extractant at the ratio of phases flows C:W≥1.4 with the obtained extract addition to the extract coming from the repeated extraction operation. n EFFECT: invention increases purification of plutonium from tetravalent actinides. n 1 cl, 1 dwg, 3 tbl
