titleOfInvention Method for predicting effectiveness of transcranial magnetic stimulation of brain in treating patients with depressive disorders
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to psychiatry and neurophysiology, and can be used in predicting the effectiveness of transcranial magnetic cerebral stimulation in treating patients with depressive disorders with psychopharmacotherapy inefficiency. That is ensured by recording electroencephalography in leads along the cortical areas of regions of the right and left cerebral hemispheres. Performing coherent analysis of alpha rhythm. A coherence index is calculated in each cortical zone with subsequent calculation of arithmetic coherence index of all cortical zones. If the arithmetic coherence index is more than 0.35 in all cortical areas, a positive effect of the transcranial magnetic stimulation of the brain in treating the patients with depressive disorders is predicted. n EFFECT: method provides the EEG parameters calculation accuracy and validity of the therapeutic approach selection using transcranial magnetic stimulation in the given patients. n 1 cl, 3 tbl, 3 ex
